Plew Farm’s CSA is for community members who pre-pay for a seasonal supply of products.  Rather than go to the bank for a loan before each season, we reach out to our community to help cover cost for feed, purchase of livestock, maintenance, etc.  That way the community gets the “interest” instead of a big bank.  The benefits of a Plew Farm CSA membership include a discount, flexibility in purchasing and knowing where your food comes from.

We offer a variety of products for purchase throughout the year, and with that in mind, we offer a free choice CSA farm share, instead of weekly box pickups.  This will allow you to shop and choose exactly what you’d like, when you’d like!  No need to worry about missing a week if you are going to be out of town, and no problem picking up an extra chicken when company arrives!

We offer half shares ($200 worth of product) and full shares ($400 worth of product).  Plew Farm shares are available for purchase at a discount, depending on your purchase date.  You will be able to redeem your credit at the Rutland farmers market (indoor and outdoor) or at our farm stand in Mt. Holly.

2018 CSA membership opens February 1st, and runs until March 31st.   You may begin shopping with your CSA credit 2 weeks after your membership application and fees have been received.  You may use your farm share credit towards any farm produced product(s).*

We will keep track of your spending for you.  You’ll receive an email from us at the beginning of each month with your account balance.  Your CSA share expires December 31, 2018 – so you’ll want to be sure to use up your share before the end of the year.  No refunds, no carryovers.
