INGREDIENTS
1 cup Plew Farm Amber Rich maple syrup
1/2 of a large jalapeno, sliced
1 long red hot pepper, sliced
2-4 thai chilis, coarsely chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour maple syrup into a small saucepan.
Add the peppers and bring to a boil, watching to make sure the maple does not boil up and over the pan.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow the syrup to cool with the peppers, about 10 minutes.
Pour the syrup through a sieve into a container. Don’t throw the peppers away! You can use them in a dressing, or marinade.
Store the spicy maple syrup in an airtight container in the fridge.
