Ingredients
¼ cup Plew Farm maple syrup
1 teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon salt
3 cups walnut halves
Directions
Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine ¼ cup maple syrup, 1 teaspoon ginger, ½ teaspoon cayenne, ½ teaspoon paprika and ¼ teaspoon salt in a medium bowl; stir well. Add 3 cups walnuts; stir until evenly coated.
Spread the nuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake, stirring once, until the nuts are fragrant and slightly darkened, about 20 minutes. Let the nuts cool completely on the pan, about 30 minutes. Break up the nuts with a wooden spoon if needed (some pieces may stick together). Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
