Maple Vinaigrette

Skip the bottled salad dressing. If you have olive oil and vinegar, they're all you need to create endless dressing options, like this Maple Vinaigrette. Instead of sugar, we add a hint of maple syrup for a fall-inspired twist.


  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • Sea salt and black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup (or to taste)
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil


  1. In a small bowl whisk the vinegar, salt, pepper, and maple syrup together.
  2. Gradually beat in the olive oil until well blended. Taste for sharpness and adjust seasonings, if necessary.
